A hinged lid solves a problem every busy kitchen knows: separate lids get mismatched, dropped, or run out before the bases do. Model 801 is a one-piece plastic hinged clamshell container - base and lid joined at a living hinge - so a single motion closes the box and there's no second part to lose during a rush. It's a 1000ml clamshell made from MFPP, rated -20°C to 120°C, and it's available in 1, 2, or 3 compartments.
MFPP is mineral-filled polypropylene. The mineral content stiffens the walls and the hinge area, which is exactly where a cheap clamshell fails - repeated opening cracks a weak hinge, and a soft lid warps when a hot meal reheats. The added rigidity keeps the hinge working and the lid flat over the life of the meal, from packing counter to the customer's microwave.
The container measures 8 × 8 × 2.9 inches, comes in rectangle or round, and in black or white - the standard colors most delivery brands build their look around.
